Pro-lifers must make it clear that pro-abortion
feminists are wrong about women. Women are
tough enough to protect their babies. Chastity
is pro-woman; marriage and family are pro–
woman. Women do not have to despair.
As
pro–
life women we must bring our experiences
forward. We know that women can stand up in
difficult situations; we know that women are
strong and courageous. We must reject the
rhetoric of despair. We must give every woman
hope.
Real women must stand up and be counted,
but we want real men standing with us. Men,
don't be afraid of being called male chauvinists or
patriarchal sexist oppressors. Continue to stand
up for the family, for the real equality between
men and women, and for life. We have to feel
sorry for the pro-abortion women. They always
look so angry. I think it is because they have such
miserable lives.
Abortion oppresses women; it teaches women
that men can't be counted on.
It
breeds hardness
and disrespect towards women in the hearts of
men.
It
puts a wall up between men and women
that affects every part of their relationship. One of
the big differences between pro-life women and
pro-abortion women is that pro-life women are
treated with respect by pro-life men. We are not
oppressed. The pro-life movement is a wonderful
