aggressive advertising campaign for the adoption
option.
We can all write letters to the editor. Most of the
media is in the other camp and it would be refreshing
to have the pro-life, pro-adoption point of view on an
editorial page at least occasionally. Contact a radio
station and inquire about doing a talk-show on the pro–
life issue; be sure to do your homework as tough
questions may be asked. Make sure your area libraries
have some pro-life books.
It's not just enough to be right. If we deeply care
for the life of the mother and the baby, let us change
our hearts and open our hands and extend help by
being actively involved. Ask your local minister to
preach a positive pro-life message. Pray at all times for
God's help, as a little girl once said, "Dear Lord, please
make the bad people good and the good people nice."
Consider having a "Respect for Life" Sunday at your
church and do something special on this day that is
pro-family.
Build your programs each year around National
Adoption week in late November. Sponsor seminars
using good quality video aids and literature to groups
free of charge. Help organizations with annual march–
for-life demonstrations. Go to a local school and give
an effective talk on pro-life issues.
Have a Mother's Day message printed and passed
out in any organizations to which you belong.
Subscribe to some right-to-life publications and keep
informed. Wear the "Precious Feet," the international
pro-life symbol. Above all, sh<?w profound concern for
