9. This apathetic attitude creates a nation of
''dependents"
on the handouts of others and
on the force of government to see that they
are taken care of.
10. When enough persons become dependent
for their well-being on the production of
others and on the force of government to
redistribute goods to them, they become
critical of both government and the
industrious. They criticize and refuse to
defend their heritage of freedom and are ripe
subjects to go back into bondage. National
decay has set in and freedom is lost.
