Huff transferred to Harding in the spring semester from Abilene Christian University. There were a number of reasons people transferred while in college. Some came to be with friends; some came for academic reasons. Sometimes a student graduated from high school early and entered college one semester ahead of time. Whatever the reason, Harding's second semester spring enrollment has climbed steadily in the last few years. While transfer students and second semester freshmen did not have an Impact experience like those who came in the fall semester, Harding students went out of their way to make these new students feel a part of the Harding college experience.
