Working Students Juniors Kristen Webster, Sarah Nicks, and Mary Edmundson purchase Sister Hazel tickets from a student worker in the Benson ticket booth. Many of Harding's students held on and off campus jobs to supplement their college loans and spending during the semester. Working requires a disciplined mind and strong work ethic. Often class schedules revolved around work schedules. There were many places around Harding where students could get a part or fulltime job. There were also many on campus employment opportunities. The student employment office, located in the Ezell building, often had listings of job openings on campus and around Searcy. From maintenance to cafeteria work to housekeeping to performing the functions of resident's assistants, jobs were. plentiful. Harding offices, such as the Heritage Inn, security and public relations regularly hired student workers for busy work days. The Brackett Library, the media center located in the Mabee building and other departmental jobs were available. Many students worked as teacher's assistants, a job in which they graded papers and performed other jobs that aided professors. Many others worked as tutors, in areas such as language, music and English. Photo by Daniel Dubois. Amanda Tidmore-Newport. Ark. Jason Tomlinson-Searcy, Ark. Josh Toney-warm Springs. Ark.
