Lambda Sigma Lambda Sigma began its 57th year at Harding with 24 members , including nine pledges. Steven Breezeel, a junior from Indiana , and also the club 's president, had a goal this year to reclaim some of the "faded out" traditions. "Over the past 57 years, there has been a lot of history that has been lost. This year we tried to reclaim that history and build up the club archives," he said. Another goal that Lambda's again pursed this year was a special pollution project. Four times a year, the club went to a mile stretch ofHighway 67 and cleaned up trash left along the road. Breezeel said, "We decided to go out to the highway during pledge week because it was a good opportunity for the new and old members to get to know each other better. It was also something that made us all work as a team to accompiish ." When asked what made Lambda Sigma different than other mens ' clubs , Breezeel said, "We seem to be more laid back and relaxed than a lot of the other clubs on campus ." --Dave Jacobs Ke\ 'in and Dean Morkassel shO\\' off their Lambda Sigma spirir.
