Delta Chi Delta Having started out as a new men 's social club with only 10 members in the fall of 1989, Delta Chi Delta has grown almost seven times its original size. Club President Dan Feeney, a member of the original pledge class, said the club has always tried to stress three things: unity, service and trust. "We've always tried to stress a good reputation with the administration and campus. We've tried to achieve a strong bond with our club and allow that bond to flow over onto the campus as well as other clubs, " he said. Delta Chi Delta spent the year planning their service project activities towards helping children and needy kids. Feeney said they had done some work with children last year and hoped this year would be more beneficial and successful. Even though Delta Chi Delta has grown considerably in size over the years , the club still has some "small club" goals. As Feeney said, "We hope to keep the closeness of a small club. . . .The only thing better than being a close club is to be Christians.
