Intramurals Offer Year-Round Excitement The men's intramural program offered activities and excitement year round for any Harding student who wanted to play. The motto of the program was "A sport for every man and a man in every sport.,, - Intramural sports were divided into major and minor leagues. The divisions made for more competitive play, which was to everyone's benefit. An All-Star team, voted by the players, was selected at the conclusion of the season of each sport. Dr. Mike Pruitt, director of the program, organized a variety of team and individual sports, including softball, football, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, tennis, track, raquetball, swimming, pinpong, calisthenics and a homerun ncontest.
