Servanthood was the main goal of ETE for the '9l- '92 school year. Senior Lee Fowlkes said, " The officers are trying to put more of an emphasis on service projects and the spiritual aspects of the club to bring us aJJ closer together." Some of Sig Tau's service projects included Angel Tree, which was a program sponsored by Wal-mart that helped get clothing for two young boys. They also started a letter writing project in which they encouraged missionaries in Italy, Africa, and throughout the U.S. Kappa Delta Kappa, Sig Tau's sister club, made great steps this year. They managed to double the size of their club, which helped raise spirits and create a stronger unification than they'd had in past years. Denise Hollen, president, explained, "We're a club that has grown together in the past year helping us to form ties that will never be broken." Kappa Delta also took part in service projects this year. They helped the Child Development department in throwing a Halloween party for some of the less fortunate children of Searcy. Leslyn Rose continued to say, "In doing this, it gave the members a great chance to meet some of Searcy's young people as well as help the needy. " Both ETE and KOK marked this year with their strong example of servanthood and service.+ - Shawn Hart ANY TAKERS.
