~ppa Sigs & CI'ri-~ppa Sharing Their Blessings Tri-Kappa and Kappa Sigma Kappa shared a common desire to help the less fortunate. Dana Crane helped organize Tri-Kappa 's service project. The club held a carnival for the children of the Sunshine School. Crane explained how the project helped the members by saying, " It opened many people's eyes to the mentally disabled and how blessed we are. I think many people walked away feeling good themselves." Katie Bell agreed. " It made me happy to see how they interacted with Tri-Kappa and the other clubs represented there." Kappa Sigs worked with the children at the Arkansas Pediatric Center. They had fund raisers in the community, such as car washes in which the members anxiously participated. The money raised went towards a playground that the members installed for the children. Randall Wel'sh commented, "A lot of tim.es we forget the people who are less fortunate. This service project gave us a chance: to come together to help them through our hard work and love." The primary goal of the service project was "to increase the club 's awareness of the community's needs," J . J . Childers said. After talking about several possible service projects, Therm Childers expressed the overall feelings of the club, " There were many other service projects we gave thought to, but we felt that this one was the most beneficial."
