(ja{a~ & Ju (jo Ju Not Just Another Thing In The Road The fall semester began with a Ju Go Ju and Galaxy cookout followed by several devotionals together that brought everyone back together. The two clubs met again for a host of pledge week activities. One member in Ju Go Ju stated, "The apple eating game is always a pledge week favorite, especially for Jennifer Land." Purple and white, Mazzio's pizza, and the familiar saying - "un-huh, one more time" - all symbolize a girl's club on campus. Ju Go Ju kept the goal of growing spiritually throughout the year. Many girls expressed interest in small prayer groups, as well as devotionals with the whole club. " As a result of prayer group meetings, prayer requests were turned into the devo directors so that the club could pray about the personal needs of the members or their friends. It brought us all closer together, to be praying for one another," stated Teresa Garner. Jennifer Moore, otherwise know as Moke, added her tidbit to the idea of prayer groups. "Come on back," a typical statement made by Moke. The year began with a blast for Galaxy. Pledge week ushered in a whole new " green" group of freshman. It was a rough week for them, but all survived, including Jim Massey's pfedge name, which took the prize. Galaxy also had a goal of spiritual growth, as their sister club did, which added to their outstanding year of friendship and fun. The year was full of hayrides, " freshed baked buns" t-shirts, and Eteam basketball games. Galaxy and Ju Go Ju, along with Delta Gamma Rho, participated in Spring Sing as roadkill. It was interesting ideas like this that helped this brother and sister gang keep things "happening". By the looks of things, there is more to come in the years to come. - Jessica Nelson CHEESE ...
