This past year Westbrook participated in the Concert Choir, Women's Ensemble, Campus Players, and the Campus Ministry Program in addition to her Regina duties and queenly activities for Chi Sigs. In addition she was honored with membership in Alpha Chi, Kappa Delta Pi, and Who's Who, not to mention the other responsibilities she had as a resident dorm assistant, a Distinguished American Studies Student, and an elementary education major/ Spanish minor. "Involvement is the best way to make the most of your Harding experience. There are so many opportunities here, and each one has given me a chance to grow. I can see already how things I've done here will effect my life later, and my favorite parts of all are the friendships that I have made from participating in the different organizations." Westbrook planned to obtain her master's degree here and maybe even her doctorate one day. Her biggest frustration was that she didn't have enough time to spend with all the people in her life. Her student teaching semester further hindered her "free time," but with an air of confidence she said, "I sometimes feel like I'm never going top get everything done, but God's in charge here and somehow He'll see me through." - Anissa Campbell HIGH AND LOW.
