1989-1990 Yearbook

Harding was blessed with people possessing many different talents and interests. However diversified the personalities may have been, the ultimate goals remained the same. First and foremost was the glorification of God, with striving to excel academically, and furthering one's personal talents following. Whether spiritually, musically, or professionally, everyone wanted to learn more and to be better at whatever they did. That was the objective of the organizations at Harding University. Working together, organizations helped us learn to reach out, to be included, to stand up and be counted. From Pre-Med to "Dr. Who", it didn't matter if your area of expertise was artistic, academic, or simply out of the ordinary; there was an opportunity for everyone to join in the activities. With people coming together in organizations such as the Thundering Herd, JOY, the Crew, Pied Pipers, and American Studies, just to name a few, the opportunities were endless. -Lilli A.
