-----Regina Spirit Awardeeping both the student body and administration satisfied demanded dedication and time. Because Mike Gist gave both to the school, the senior class selected him to receive the Regina Spirit Award. An accounting major from Wisconsin, Mike also served as Kappa Tau Omega social club 's president. He also participated in most club sports. "He's a plain, down-to-earth guy, always involved in activities at Harding," said club brother Jerrry Traughber. "He works hard because he loves Harding and the people." Some of Mike's most successful endeavors as S.A. president, according to sponsor Jerome Barnes, were the allschool tailgate party, the New Year's Eve party featuring Comedian Andy Andrews, and attending the National Association of Campus Activities. "Mike is an achiever; he's-got a highenergy level," according to Darren Findley, S.A. movie committee chairman. "If there is something he wants -done, he just does it." 4 It 's our secret !
