DEPARTMENTAL Harding sends representatives to state Academy of Science Masquerading as famous works of art, art majors and minors gathered for a fall Halloween party to become better acquainted. In spring The Guild sponsored the annual art sale. The Science Club received statewide recognition due to accomplishments of its members. Professor Lawson was elected state president of the Senior Academy of Science while David Roll assumed duties as secretary-treasurer of the Collegiate Academy of Science. Scientific papers were presented at a conference at Arkansas Tech by several of the club members. 175
