Winnie Bell Going Away Party

•• \~ \ I ·1 Dear Winnie, Friends are the flowers that bloom in life's garden . • It makes me sad to think of you moving from Searcy. Even though we don't get to visit much, it is so nice to know you are here and close by. It is also great when we do get to see each other. However, for you, the move is one of adventure, I'm ' sure. You always loved the excitement of travel, innovations, and mystery. I know that you will be blessed to be near your family. My prayer is that God will ~ give you every good gi~ that you will be surrounded by loving family members, that you will become a part of a vibrant, caring church family, that you will have new adventures that will delight you, and good health. I can't possibly recall all the times we shared nor the memories of those times. You were a wonderful role model to me in so many ways-as a devout Christian, a child who-truly·honored her parents, a devoted sister, a caring, compassionate mom, an exceptional professional who was truly ahead of your time in library science, a "boss" who made it fun with popcorn, student treat days, etc. I remember fondly the times we spent eating and '1isiting with you, Dr. Bell, and your mom. I always felt so welcome. It was a beautiful thing to see the care that you and Dr. Bell gave to your mom. And my, how you took care of Dr. Bell! · . How you juggled everything to do church work, volunteer at the library, and take care of family -always with a smile. I wish I could be more like you! My most favorite memory is when you would tell a "funny" -usually on yourself. In fact, I don't remember many of the funnies but I do remember the twinkle in your eye and the hearty laughs that we had over the stories you told. • . . Winnie, please remember that those of us who love you will miss you. In my mind, you ~ere a good and perfect gift from God to me and Ed. Perhaps we can come visit you in your new home in the future.
