(Photo by April Clem) Dr. Cliff Ganus (sitting in center), professor of music , sponsored the 1978 edition of Belles and Beaux. The group recorded an album, "Harding College Presents the Time of Day: In Record Time." Chuck Hix, associate professor of music, has sponsored the group since 1995. Belles and Beaux, around since 1959, made themselves distinctive by adapting to all genres of music. With a mix of vocal and instrumental music, the members of Belles and Beaux displayed a wide range of musical talents. Auditions were held in the spring and 15 members were chosen who showed not only great personal ability, but also the ability to blend well with other members of the group.
