Without you, this would not have been possible. cover The cover was produced with a four-color process on White Litho with embossing on the front, matte lamination on the front, and clear silkscreen on the front and back. endsheets The front and back endsheets were conceptualized by Emma Aly, editorin-chief, and Noah McCool, creative director, and printed on four-color process on White Endleaf stock. theme The theme, "echo," was developed by Emma Aly, editor-in-chief. color & printing This 9" by 12" book is made up of 336 pages printed with a four-color process on Legend Satin Test 100# stock in a press run of 2,500 books. typography Headlines were set in variations of the GT Walsheirn font family. Subheadlines were set in variations of the Adobe Caslon Pro font family. Stories and captions were set in Georgia regular, italic and bold. photography Photographs were taken by student staffphotographer Stanley Morales, Jillian Jarvis and Madison Meyer. Other photographs were contributed to the Petit Jean or taken by Jeff Montgomery, director of photo services for University Communications and Marketing. design Layouts, illustrations and graphics were designed by oah McCool, creative director, with assistance from Samuel Young, assistant creative director, and Emma Aly, editor-in-chief. soundwave The soundwave motif found on the cover is based on a recording of President Bruce McLarty saying "The Lord Bless You and Keep You" before the singing of the song of the same name in the final chapel of the 2018-19 school year. The Petit Jean staffworks in the Student Publications office, located on the first floor ofthe Donald W. Reynolds Center for Music and Communication. Students enrolled in 12 credit hours or more both semesters have paid sufficient general fees to cover the $40 cost of the yearbook. Depending on their enrollment status for the year, others are charged full or half price. The Petit Jean is a member of the Arkansas College Media Association, the Columbia Scholastic Press Association and the Associated Collegiate Press Hall of Fame. closing 311
