2018-2019 Yearbook

"Narrative" is the 95th volume of the Petit Jean yearbook at Harding University. It was printed by Walsworth Publishing in Marceline, Missouri. All pages were designed on Apple computers using Adobe Creative Cloud. Cover: The cover was produced on Verona 515 Olive Woven Cloth with matte gold hoc foil on the front cover and spine, embossing on the front and back cover, and hubbing on the spine. A moss green bookmark ribbon with a metallic gold dipped end and a Loden green headband was included in the binding. A matte gold hot foil was used for name stamping. End sheets: The front and back endsheets were conceptualized by Megan Stroude, ditor-in-chief, and created by Morgan May, illustrator, and printed on Deluxe Ivory Lace stock. Theme: The theme, "Narrative," was developed by Megan Stroud,editor-in-chief. Color & Printing: This 9" by 12" book is made up of 336 pages printed with a four-color process on Legend SatinText 100# stock in a press run of 2,500 books. Typography: Headlines were set in variations of the Roboto font family, Adobe Garamond Pro and Quickpen. Subheadlines were set in variations of the Roboto font family. tories and captions were set in Adobe Garamond Pro regular, italic and bold. Photography: Photographs were taken by student staff photographers Sterling McMichael, Angelo Felix and Lindsey Webb. Other photographs were contributed to the Petit Jean or taken by Jeff Montgomery, university photographer. Design: Layouts and all graphics were designed by Sarah Adornetto, head layout designer, with assistance from Kathryn Wilkins, assistant layout designer director, and Megan Stroud, editor-in-chief. Illustrations: Illustrations on the endsheet and division pages were conceptualized by Megan Stoud,editor-in-chief, and Morgan May, illustrator. All artwork was hand-drawn by Morgan May with Pigma micron pens on Stonehengewhite paper and scanned in the Harding University Brackett Library Archives. 308
