Burks American Heritage Building housed many of the university leaders' offices and served as a hotel andpopular indoorpathwayfrom the Hammon Student Center to the Charles White Dining Hall Cafeteria. I illustration by Morgan May Class after class and year after year, the Harding leadership grew with the student body. Through the times of unexpected darkness and hardfought victories, the leadership continued to do their job, extending a hand to the generations ofstudents to create a more Christ-like world. They enabled the entire student body to write the best narrative possible. Even when the future was uncertain, the strength of our university's leadership remained. Wesley Bryant leadership editor
