MACY PATE At the beginning of the fall semester, beforc I c\·en fully understood what my job as assistant photographer would look like, I remember thinking (and C\·cn tweeting), "This is the Harding experience I didn't know I needed." If you arc like me, arcn 't \·cry outgoing and aren't a member of a social club, it can be easy to convince yourself that you arcn·Lgetting the full "H arding experience.'· Little did [ k110\\. that there was a place for me on campus that fit my interests much better than a social club ever could. Suddenly, I, a junior psychology major, found myself on a staff full of really great people. being paid to do what l love the most: photography. Through this experience 1 hm·c .ecn parts of campus and met people that I ne\'Cr would ha\·e othcnrisc, all while gaining new friendships and refining my skills as a photographer. Being one of the fr\\ people i1wolvccl in documenting the history of' this year at Harding University is no small job, but I am \Try thankful to be one of the people chosen to do it. l have no doubt that this is my niche in the Harding com munity. ~ly only regret is not joining the staff~ooner. ·5)1, > l\l )F.\
