MEMORIAL November 16, 1993 - August 3, 2015 Harding University and its athletics department were deeply saddened by the untimely death of Dequan Raindle. Raindle, a 21-year-old native of Corsicana, Texas, transfe1Ted to Harding from Blinn College in Brenham,Texas, in January and trained with the football team through the spring 2015 semester. According to an online story on the CorsicanaDailySun.com, Corsicana Police Chief Randy Bratton reported that Raindle was found unresponsive when family members tried to wake him for his nighttime job. Medics transported Raindle to :1:l2 CLOSING Navarro Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Bratton said there were no signs of foul play found by investigators.Navarro County Justice of the Peace Connie Hickman ordered an autopsy in the death investigation. Harding head coach Ronnie Huckeba said of Raindle: "I am at a loss for words. Dequan Raindle was one ofthe happiest, most positive people I have ever been around in my life.
