f5 leav· Sophomore Mollie Arnold had learned how to be a leader on the volleyball team over the past two years. She had impressive stats and was in the top twenty in the National Collegiate Athletic Association II with points scored. "We put a lot of hard work and time into trying to be the best volleyball team here at Harding," Arnold said. "We strive to be good Christian examples on and off the court and be leaders and role models to others." Senior Amber Parker said Arnold was a great teammate and example for the team. "She has a very competitive spirit, Volleyball which is contagious on the court," Parker said. "She is our go to player, which puts a lot of pressure on her to do well, and she rises to the occasion every time. She is extremely versatile in her volleyball skills, which is one of the reasons she is such a great player; she can do it all. She always knows how to lighten the mood but still get the job done." Seniors on the team agreed this year was an exceptional year with exceptional players such as Arnold. "I think the main thing I noticed is that we are stronger chemistry-wise," senior Jordan Smith said. "We were closer together than I think we probably ever have been. We were each other's support system." Arnold said she considered each of her teammates this year to be family: She felt the friendships she had made would continue on after Harding. "I am very thankful for the good year that I had," Arnold said. "I try to work hard in my performance and to get better every day, and I owe it to my team as they push me through it and always uplift me to be the best that I can. I thank God for all the success I've had playing volleyball and getting to be part of such an amazing team and family." Ashley Rosenbaum
