The girls' games brought the same level of energy that the guys did. Everyone who stepped on the floor had that deep burning passion to win. "My favori te thing about playing club basketball is the level of intensity and competitive nature of it," Richey said . "It is just a lot of fun playing with girls in my club." As the games began, everyone in attendance had to choose their side. Club members we re not limited to Simply cheering for their fellow members. Many spectators had no club affiliation, but were Simply there to watch the game. But many clubs brought everything they had to cheer on their team . "There are a lot of clubs that really support their basketball teams; I feel like Knights always brings the most fans," Dell said. "They always come in packs and bring numerous amounts of fans, banners, costumes and chants." But for the players, it 's just as big of an event. It 's more than playing for the win, it's playing for pride and for fun. Despite the desire to take home the victory, the players had the chance to play against close friends .
