"Compared to high school, [cheerleading] is more demand– ing [here] ," Megan said. "In college, it's more ofa lifestyle, like it's our job. It takes up morc cime and energy." Mallory agreed that the increase in practice time was some– thing the twins had to get used to. "We practice a whole lot," Mallory said. "In the beginning of the year we had to practice to get in shape, and we didn't have to do that in high school." "TIle Browns started cheerleading when they were 7 years old so they could cheer for their brother, who was playing football at the time. The sisters said they liked to cheer with each other. "It's a lot offun, and at times we can get a little competitive with each other to see who can push it harder," Megan said. ~<I have a little bit of a fear to tumble, so Mallory is right there in my ear saying, 'Megan, just do it; just go for it; JUSt throw it.' She's always hard on me, bur ralways do better from her pushing." Although people confused them in high school, they said at Harding, no one had a difficuir time telling the two apart. "People didn't believe me the first time [I told them we were twins]," Megan said. "It's really weird to go from everyone being really confused to no one noticing." Mallory said her favorite part of cheering at H arding was seeing all the girls at rhe games. "I love cheering here because you see all of the litrie girls come, and they have on their uniforms and want to talk to you," Mallory said. "I love that aspect."
