"Standing in the river up to my waist in running water, trying to trick a fish into biting a little bit of fuzz on a hook is a lot different from sitting at my desk reading student papers or sit– ting in a meeting trying to decide which courses need to be offered next semester." Jonathan Picklesimer, assistant professor of business, enjoyed sailing. " I ha ve a lways been a water person ," Picklesimer sa id . "1 grew u p fishing with my family during the summers. It had been many years since I had the opportun ity to enjoy lakes like I did as a child. Now sa iling gives me tha t chance." Dr. Don England, distinguished professor of chemistry, had an inte rest in woodwo rking. In 1999 England's work was showcased in an art show in the art gallery on campus.
