Student names identical to famous stars and singers Michael Jackson and Gena Davis, celebrities right? Yes and no. There are two celebrities with those names, but there are also two Harding students with the same name. In fact, there are many people at Harding who have unique names or the same name of a celebrity. Having a name that is unusual creates questions and comments, but it also leaves a lasting impression. In some instances having the name of a celebrity results in having to prove your identity. "One day I was at the mall and the cashier asked me for my name, and I told her that it was Michael Jackson. She responded by scolding me and telling me not to get smart with her," junior Michael Jackson said. Sophomore Brady Bunch has been involved in similar situations in which people questioned whether or not he was serious when he told them his name. "Sometimes I'll order a pizza and it will never come," Bunch said. "When I call the pizza place to ask them about it, they tell me that they thought I was pranking them," Junior Gena Davis said a girl even asked for her autograph.
