2000-2001 Yearbook

A Walk on the Wild Side Senior Ben Johnson completes a human pyramid with an uneasy stance while being supported by other beaux from Regina and Shantih during the women's social club open house, Aug. 24. College is about fun, and Harding students definitely know how to have fun in style. Making human pyramids is only one way to do it. Any time a campus can get students from more than 40 different countries and all 50 states together, the result is pure madness. Social clubs are always creating innovative ideas and activities for club functions such as paintball, river boat cruises and broomball, hockey that is played on skates using' brooms for sticks. In addition, the Student Association provides the student body with a number of different activities to fill the weekends, such as movies shown in the Benson auditorium, student talent shows, karaoke night, concerts and comedians. A college student does not need a lot of money to make the kind of memories that are passed on to the next generation. Photo by Ric Helms. Bret Pfeifer-Flo Gibson, Okla. SaJlie PickenS-Garland.
