Friendship is Teamwork The volleyball team huddles for support during a seasonal game. Whether on the field, in the classroom, or during an allnight cram session for Biology 101 , teamwork was a theme threaded throughout Harding's student life. College is not for wimps, and sometimes students needed a helping hand to show they were not alone. Harding students realized the importance of working together towards a common goal. Support groups are needed in different areas of college life. Working with others allowed students to develop skills !hat will be helpful for a lifetime in churches, homes, schools and careers. Students gathered during the week in prayer groups where spiritual and emotional loads were shared and each person grew through a common bond of going through similar circumstances: Clubs also offered a source of strength and fun to those seeking a fun time and spiritual emphasis. Intramural athletics and university sponsored organizations help many Harding students find the crowd he or she most identified with. The easiest and best way to survive the college experience is to get involved. When students are connected and plugged into the university, they will make memories that will last an eternity.
