' f :J ,1 J~ The 1999-2000 sophomore class chose Marcus Moore, men's representative; JeremyGibson, vice pres ident; Ryan Kirksey, president; Andrea Kloske, secretary/treasurer; and Meg Wiewora, women's representative. With a couple of familiar faces from the group elected last year, the group worked as a team from the beginning. With accomplishments such as various fund-ra ising and service projects, the group always worked tOgether. During the fall semester, the officers worked along with the Student Association (S.A.) and the Office of Alumni Relations to organize a successful and memorable Homecoming. The appearance of a live bison was something that the S. A. had really wanted to do for the student body, according to Moore. The mascot performed at the game and at {he pep rally the night before - which turned ou{ (0 be the largest pep rally Harding has ever had . In addition to the Homecoming fest ivities, the class officers also helped decorate the campus with Christmas lights during the holiday season. "We really want (0 get everyone involved in our fun activities, bu t at the same time keep our events spirimally focused,» Moore said.
