"I started volunteering at His House as part of a project for Dr. Neller's Introduction to Christian Ministry class, but then I really loved and enjoyed it so I kept going back," Russell Lawyer said. "I've only been volunteering for a little over a month so I spend my time sorting clothes for distribution. Sometimes, I work in the pantry stocking the shelves andpackaging the food. I think the one experience that has taught me the most was the night that I packaged cold cuts. I started thinking how I take being able to run to Kroger and pick up a package ofcold cuts for a couple of dollars for granted.
