Senior Clair Wietecha hands in her angel after carefully choosing the child she would like to purchase a present for. Angel Tree has been a five-year tradition for Harding and continues to affect children 's lives throughoutArkansas. The project is part of the national level by the Prison Fellowship andis designed to provide presents for children of prison inmates, in theparents'name, to make their Christmas more memorable. This year students providedeach childwith acoloringbook of Bible stories along with their present to introduce or teach more about God to each child. Students took on the challenge ofhelping 700 children. In some cases, iwo or three peoplepooledtheirmoneyandchose one angel. Other people chose more than oneangelby themselves.
