Dr. Jack Shock advises a student in his new office in the Reynolds Center. Preregistration was"the time when students most earnestly sought the advice of their teachers. Faculty often worked late to make sure students got their schedules worked out. Students use the new soundproof practice rooms to prepare for performances or just to brush up on their skills. They were able to reserve the rooms for personal use throughout the year. • 168 Louis Butterfield, E;d.D. ProUComm. Scott Carroll, 1\1.1\1. Ass·t. ProfJ1o\usic Warren Casey.
