To the studentswho participated, the international studies programs were a oncein a-lifetime opportunity. However, many found that life back home wasn't the same as it was before they spent time overseas. Many students found themselves pining for the strangest things, things that only they found special. "[ miss London's transportation system and how easy it was to get where you wanted to be, " senior Trudy Payne said. "[ miss being able to do what [ wanted to, when [ wanted to do it. [ also miss being able to go to shows any night of the week. [ miss being able to go out to the Thames and watch the people from other countries.
