Freshman class officers for the 1998-1999 school year were Megan Wiewora, women's representative; Kristen Burnet, secretary/treasurer; Michael Felker, men 's representative; Jeremy Gibson, president; and Ryan Kirksey, vice president. The officerswere electedin September to represent the freshman class. They came into office with high expectations and impressed even the upperclassmen with their poise. Over the year, they developedplans to do a lot ofdifferent things to bring the freshman class closer together. "We have a lot ofdifferent ideas but we really want to get together and review club induction and how it went for everyone and we really want to have aChristmas party, " Gibson said after his election.
