1 Photo by Salomon Pineda Checking campus mail is a procedure many go through every day, butsometimes the result isn'tworth the effort. It happens all the time - students open their mailbox and... there's nothing there. Although it is common to everyone, one often hears another exclaiming, "It has been awholeweeksince [got mail!" or "[ never get real mail; all [ get is campus mail. " Though most days students are greeted by an empty box, the most exciting days always end up being those when they open their mailboxand find ayellow slip. Sometimes hopeful students see a .' hand of someone sticking mail into... someone else's box. Some receive unusual gifts in the mail. "[ got an orange boomerang in the mail once. I'm a beau so [get some random things sometimes," junior Alan Howell said. Unusual things weren 't the only items beingstuffed in the mailboxes. Being at a Christian campus provides many opportunities to send encouraging notes to those who are having a hard time in their life orjust a badday. Whatever the occasion, mail was greatly appreciated by all - even if it was only campus mail. Hollie Wilson - Alberta. Canada Lisa Wilson - Honey Brook. Pa. Matthew Wilson - Olathe. Kan.
