To:as ( Weekends provide students with relaxing break from classes On Fridays, as students were dis- .missed from their last cl ass, many began the sea rch for someth ing to do for the weekend . For sports fans , there was usually a Harding or high school football or basketba ll game going on. Club members had hayri des and banquets to attend. Some got friends together, ordered a pizza or two and watched a movie in their dorm rooms. Others drove to Little Rock for di nne r and a movie with a group of friends. Add itional activities included camping, fishing, staying at a friend's house or just relaxing at home for the weekend. Whatever Hard ing students found to do on Friday and Saturday nights, they agreed that weekends were great simply because they had no classes to attend. "The weekends are for relaxing, unwinding and just hanging out, without being on a schedule ," freshman Dustin Howell said. Many students found Sa turday mornings the most convenient time to catch up on the sleep they had lost during the week. Those who had ROO classes during the week especially enjoyed lazy, qu iet Saturday mornings. "Forme, weekends are a time to sleep in and be free of stress ," freshman Sam Allen said. Whateve r they chose to do, the best parr was being with friends. The weekend provided a chance for students to spend quality time wi th the fri ends that they d id not have time to hang out with during (he week.
