Students adapt to various dating ~xperiences Harding is a unique dating environment with more than 4,000 students, most of them Christians and many of them looking for dates. Harding provided many social opportunities for dates, including movies, concerts and p lays. Harding also provided spiritual activities, such as devotionals, to help students develop together as Christians and get to know each another better. These opportunities on campus, along with others in Searcy, provided many chances for inte resting dates. Junior Ca ri Rodgers said, "My boyfriend DJ. and I often go to the movies and out to eat in Searcy. Our favorite place to eat in Searcy is at Trail Dust , and we usually go to the movies on Tuesday nights." For studentswho wanted more privacy than a campus movie and less expense than a trip to Little Rock, imagination was the key. "On Valentine 's Day, when everyone else was planning big dates offcampus, my date and J stayed on campus," senior Aaron Ortiz said. "We had pizza by candlel ight, which was romantic in a funny way, and then we played the piano and sang together." Many students enjoyed dating around while others were looking for a lifelong companion. \"'V'hatever the situation, there was no reason for students to complain about having nothing [Q do or nowhere [Q go on a date.
