Sophomore class officers Kristin Coleman (secretarytreas urer), Chad Gardner (president) and Tony Hutchison (v ice president) were elected to serve their classmates this year. For Gardner, the sophomore class' choice to elect him was a double honor because he also served as freshmen class president last year. His leadership ability and friendly personality won him the role again this year. "Being elected class president for two consecutive years is a big honor for me. I served my class in high school as president for several years, and now I am grateful to my class for allowing me to continue to serve in the same manner here at Harding," he said. "I believe that getting involved in extra-curricular activities provides many opportunities to enjoy Harding, and I would encourage everyone to get involved with activities like student government."
