Harding students assist Alice Guffy Miller (far right), an artist from Monticello, Arkansas, in building a "snake " in Spring Park outside the White County Public Library. The snake was designed so children can drink from a water fountain in its mouth and play on its back, covered in ceramic tile designed by Searcy elementary school children. Volunteers ofall ages from the Searcy community worked on the week-long project, including students from Searcy elementary schools, Harding University, Harding Academy and the Sunshine School . Harding's involvement was sponsored by the Student Association. The project was funded by WalM art Distribution Center#18, the Arkansas Arts Council, and the Searcy community.
