Randy Thomas spends a few spare moments studying the Word ofGod. Free time to read the Bible was often elusive, and if their personal relationship with God was a priority, students had to make time to read His master plan. Daniel Thornhill used time spent waiting to read his Bible. "I usually get to church early, and I just read my Bible until the service starts," he said. "I read the Bible all the way through. After I finished, I would pick a short book like Obadiah that I could read in a few minutes." When the weather was inviting outside, many students took their B ibles with them. Visitors on campus often saw students, their Bibles opened to a favorite passage of encouragement, sprawled comfortably on blankets spread on the lawn. Still other students preferred the company of a study partner with whom they could share the new insights they gained each time they read familiar passages. Students knew that, regardless of how they studied, the result would bless their lives. Photo by JeffFall. Cortney Mullins - Newport, Ark. Todd Mullins - Covington, Ga.
