COVER: The cover is custom craftline embossed in Mediterranean (5 15). The grain is Mission with custom dies for embossing. Silver (329) ink was laid on On the Wings ofEagles, 1997Petit Jean , and the tool line, and all the type on the spine was embossed. The art was blind embossed. The cover was produced by Jostens in Topeka. ENDSHEETS: The endsheets were printed with Black (395) print on Snow White (280), the standard endsheet stock. The endsheets were designed by Heather Allison . PAPER STOCK: All 320 pages were printed on 80-pound high gloss enamel, trimmed to 9" x 12". COLOR: 36 pages were printed in four-color process. TYPOGRAPHY: Theme page headlines were set in Alison typeface; Academics headlines in Palatino; Organizations headlines in Bellevue; People headlines in Apollo (semi-bold ); Social Clubs headlines in New Berolina; Sports headlines in Clearface Black; and Student Life headlines in Biffo MT. All captions were set in 9 point ew Century Schoolbook and italicized except those accompanying RM Photos , which are 7.5 point. All body copy was set in New Century Schoolbook. PHOTOGRAPHY: All photographs were taken by Aaron Gillihan , assisted by Brian Hendricks and Jeff Fall , unless otherwise noted. More than 170 roll s of black and white and 50 rolls of color film were shot. All black and white photographs were developed in the Petit J ean darkroom, and all color photographs were developed and printed by The Color Lab in Searcy.
