Delta Chi Delta inductees, dressed in Student Impact shirts, present a united front as they face DanaMaddox and other upperclassmen club members. Maddox reminded them of the importance of unity, a recurring theme throughout induction week. Without unity, club members lacked the motivation and encouragement they needed from each other. "In our induction week, everything has a purpose," member Jonathan Gorham said. One example was practicing the club scripture and motto, which inductees always recited in unison. This was one way ofdemonstrating their desire to be united both as a group of incoming inductees and with the club as a whole. "This week is made to help them think as a group that serves God together," Gorham said. Photo by Aaron Gillihan. Natasha Tomasi - Alexandria, Va. Matthew Tow - Winston-Salem, N.C.
