The path toward NOWLEDGE They have walked in our shoes. They have lived in our dorms, played on our fields and learned in our classrooms. They have taken their knowledge out into the world. Some have preached countless sermons all over the United States; some have taken God's work to foreign fields and to lost souls. Yet they return to Harding to continue their greatest mission. They become our mentors, our parents away from home and our friends. They encourage us not only to grow in knowledge, but to grow in spirit with each other. We begin our classes with prayers, songs and silent meditation, following with class discussion and relating it to God. They stress the incorporation of God into everyday practices, whether it be business, education or whatever we choose. They get to know us one-on-one in the classroom, at church, at club functions and on the playing field. We go into their homes for the study of a text; they come into our hearts as Christian examples. Harding University's faculty and staff touch our lives in so many ways. Their Christian actions educate us more deeply than their words. They teach us with their minds, hands, hearts and souls, always encouraging us to follow "the road less traveled."
