It is even harder when a person transfers mid-year. While some students that started at Harding during the spring semester were new, many students were also returning alumni. Junior Patrick Brandimore, from Detroit, Mich., returned to Harding in the spring semester. A double major in English and history, Brandimore spent his fall semester taking classes at Arkansas State University in Beebe. While being away from his friends at Harding played a big part in his decision to return, Brandimore also said that he missed the chapel experience here. Brandimore found the return to the dorm and working out his class schedule easy. "The administration is very organized and has made the transition comfortable," he said. "I knew a lot of people through him, so it was not hard to make friends," she said. The academics at Harding also played a part in her decision to transfer.
