Chad Gardner (president), Ray Patton (vice president) andAshleyAnne Sholl (secretary/treasurer) were chosen as this year's freshmen class officers. The service project for the freshmen class this year was a faculty appreciation day. Entitled "Helping Those Who Help Us, " it gave the freshmen an opportunity to assist their professors with projects at home, such as raking leaves or proj ects at school. The class also became involved in feeding the needy during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season and also regularly visited nursing homes. During the holiday season, they assisted in decorating the campus with lights. "Our main goal this year is to achieve unity among the freshmen class, " Gardner said.
