FIRM We' re buildingon a... Fo ~TION As another chapter in the Harding history closed, many looked forward to the future with great anticipation, having memories as their only souvenirs. As the season changed, drastic changes took place on and off campus. Two more iaternational studies programs in Athens andLondonwere scheduled to begin in the fall of 1 994. A campus-wide recycling program was initiated. Hundreds of students rallied behind the Missouri flood relief effort. Dan Quayle and Diel~ Cheney came to present lectures. Through all of this, Harding continued to build on the foundations forged by her forefathers. The band was often called upon to perform at :;pecial events.
