Alpha Tau Alpha Tau prided themselves with being considered a close brotherhood that always stood by one another. The members encouraged each other to always try as hard as they could in everything they were involved with. Thus, the club motto was, "Always do your best." In 1992, Alpha Tau took 19 pledges , bringing its active list to 52 members. Club activities included a hayride and the annual club cookout at Heber Springs. Teamwork was the theme as the club tried to act as one group instead of several individuals. Pledge Week not only brought the members closer to ach other, but closer to God. President Randy Fleming said, "We all try to have great attitudes and always do our best. We enjoy playing sports together, but we understand that too much emphasis can be placed on sports so that you forget about more important things. We're just guys that enjoy having fun together." Through teamwork, the members of Alpha Tau tried to become closer than they had ever z been before. ~ ~ ~ -- ] eff Goodson ~ Cla yron McLeod \\'aits fo r chapel to begin .
