1992-1993 Yearbook

Tri Delta Epsilon Only four years old, Tri Delta was still young. Because they were still growing, most club members didn't feel Tri Delta had a stereotype. More than making a difference at Harding, Tri Delta also touched lives on two others continents. For over a year the club has sponsored a little girl in Asia. Shabnam, a 9year old from India , has been writing to Tri Delta and praying for them. Service project director, Mandy Prosser, said they also sponsored water wells in Ghana, Africa. Clubs wouldn't be complete without pledge week. To complete the week, Tri Delta had a talent show on rough night as part of their allclub slumber party which they planned to make a tradition. President Tammie Green was a member of the first pledge class. That first year there were more pledges than members. "It's just taken wings and flown," she said. There will be, over the years, the Christmas parties, hayrides and Valentine's Day parties among other things , but what will remain for sure is that "we strive together in our Christian belief," Green said. --Kerri Hartman Tri De lta Epsilon pledges dressed up like babies during Pledge Week.
