1992-1993 Yearbook

Phi Delta Phi Delta focused on being a club for girls who like to have fun while serving God. The 37 members of this women's social club strongly believed their motto , "others before self." Amy Hawkins, club president, said one way they put others first this semester was through their service project. Phi Delta hosted a Christmas party for the children at the Searcy Head Start. Santa made an appearance to pass out gifts to the children. The girl also helped clean the center at different times throughout the year. This and other service projects brought the girls close together. Hawkins said, "The club focused on unity. We tried to get closer to each other as friends and closer to God. " Becca Nooner, a sophomore member, noticed this unity while deciding on clubs. She said, "I was looking for a club where I could know everyone. " She found this type of club when she joined Phi Delta. Phi Delta worked to meet their goals of unity and putting others first. This small club made a big impact on those around them. - Malinda Moses Alli son Dean chats with fri ends and new students at women's o pen ho use .
